$250 Challenge - LexHacks 2015 - NexLP

The NexLP challenge is to develop a basic tool for identifying different classes of emotions in emails. We provide sample email data and references to relevant work.

For this challenge you will design an algorithm that will:
-determine if an email talks about some emotion
-if yes, assign an emotion from a set of your predefined emotion classes to the email

For example, the following email 1) talks about some emotion 2) the emotion is "Anger":

"Is Kate very stressed out lately?
I have just noticed that she is constantly angry - how are things going over there?"
